Food: 5/5 Everything I order from this place is usually deliiiicous! I especially love their little rice cake skewers and soups! Service: I cannot truly say, I have only ever DoorDashed from them... but they usually get everything right Ambiance: I cannot say.
Came here for the first time because they have good reviews. They closed between 3-4pm. Also they have lunch specials until 3pm. Turns out the restaurant super clean and they really maintain their restroom. Smells so good and clean. Food : - We got Spicy Fried Chicken Wings $7.99 : for us, it was lack of flavor and not spicy at all. It looks really good on the picture, but when you eat it, you know there is something missing. - Soon Du Bu Silken Tofu Soup $19.99 : Portions was too small compared to the price. It was only small bowl of soup comes with rice. You can pick between steamed rice / mixed rice. The rice was unique and good. The soup was lack of flavor too for us. We ordered the mixed (seafood and beef) but the beef was only little amount and it was shredded beef, also 1 shrimp and some mussels (no shell) and 1 clam, 1 egg. - Spicy Marinated Pork $24.99 : This is the best dish that we ordered so far, even it was not spicy at all for us. The pork was marinated really well and flavorful with a good portion. Also come with rice. Service was a little bit slow but still okay, it was only 2 tables when we went there. They also have a lot of sides thats really good, i love their eggplants! also the omelette. But unfortunately the server said that we can't refill the omelette. And also there was no information that they have complimentary self service ice cream, there was 4 flavors (Vanilla, Greentea, Strawberry, and Chocolate), but the Greentea was out of stock as you can see at the picture its my favorite flavor! But, overall i will come back to try another dishes.
We were hesitant on coming here for a bit because if the average price per entree, but boy we were wrong it's worth every penny! Very attentive staff and great food with good banchan! You even get dessert ice cream at a self serve ice cream bar. We've now found our go to for Korean in the IE! Two thumbs up!!
Fabulous!!! Excellent!!! We went to tried so many Korean restaurants before! But food is totally best of best! Specially, this place is so many kind of Banchan( side dishes) usually not that many, if its at other places. People may have a different opinion. But it is very close to real Korean food. It's not super high end place. But if you looking for real Korean restaurant. You should try! Service is also great. Very friendly! Love it. Also After you eat a meal. You can get free ice cream! Atmosphere is super authentic Korean restaurant. Pretty spacious. Price is fair in California. All over, I'd like to give 5 star for everything.
Although a bit pricey, you'll have great food and good service. This location used to be an AYCE Korean bbq restaurant, and you'll notice the tables have the grills (now covered) and overhead exhaust/fans. We usually come here for tofu soup and galbi, but they offer a wide variety of other Korean soups and dishes such as bibimbop and bossam. You'll notice many Korean people dining here, which is a sign that the food is definitely good! Don't forget to check in on yelp for a free soda!
Jinhan is a soup & rice place per its name, but I wonder if it will be serving Korean BBQ or hot pot in the Winter, since every table already has a grill and fan in place. I guess I will find out in a couple of months. The first thing you see entering is a fenced off garden with flowers, figurines, and fruits. They have plenty of tables on both sides. The large tables can accommodate parties of 10 or more. Jinhan's menu has a lunch special section, but wait, there is more... On the back side of the menu (place mat) is the Tuesday special menu that is 50+% off, $10 by cash, or $12 by credit cards. Probably smaller portions but there is only one way to find out. We ordered from the regular menu and they brought out 10 banchans with our meals. My octopus bibimbap was delicious. The service was good. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience. I plan to come back on a Tuesday to try the Tuesday Special. :-)
A hidden gem for exceptional Korean dishes! Wow! I had such a great first experience at Jinhan Korean Soup and Rice that I had to come back again - and again and again! What I love most about Jinhan is how the ladies make you feel at home. The dishes are comforting and just simply delicious. Here are a list of items I've tried here: * Galbi (J6) - This is my #1 favorite here! They have the recipe down to what my tastebuds like. The delicious cuts of beef short ribs are savory, sweet, sticky, and highly addicting! I love how hot it comes out on the sizzling plate too! * Spicy Marinated Pork Bulgogi - If you like heat, this one's for you! The pork is so flavorful and the dish itself comes out to a medium spice. The pork is tender and pairs well with rice or on top of some greens, ssamjang, and kimchi. *Chef's kiss* * Beef Bulgogi (J5) - Tender, thinly sliced beef in a savory and sweet marinade with crunchy carrots, onions and green onions. * Japchae - A classic Korean dish. Banchan is just not enough so we get the dinner portion to share. * Spicy Fried Chicken Wings - It's amazing how crunchy these wings come out even with all that sticky glaze on it. The glaze is sweet and savory with a a punch of heat! I was surprised how good it was! * Galbi Tang - This short rib soup is made with radish and green onions for a unique flavor. It almost reminds me of Filipino Nilagang Baka or Mexican Caldo de Res. It's comforting! The entrees come with a side of white or mixed rice. The mixed rice is made with sweet potatoes in it with purple rice. It is delicious! Also, kids get a pack of seasoned seaweed snacks. Oh, and once you sit down, they bring out some ice cold barley tea instead of water, which most restaurants have. I absolutely love the nutty yet refreshing flavor of this tea! What I love about Jinhan is the variety of banchan. They have their staples, like kimchi, pickled radish, pickled cucumbers, etc. but I also enjoyed some other sides like Gamja Jorim, Kongnamul Muchim, Hobak Bokkeum (Stir-fried Zucchini), stir fried eggplant, etc. Jinhan is located in Corona off McKinley and, if you're familiar with the area, you know how busy this area gets being so close to the 91 freeway exit. It's next door to Lee's Sandwiches. Parking is a hit or miss. It will be difficult to find parking during peak hours since the lot is shared by other businesses. The restaurant is mid- to large- sized and is spacious inside. If you're coming with a wheelchair, walker, or stroller, there's enough room to comfortably navigate between tables. Restrooms here are clean but walking down its hall seems like an endless maze (LOL). Overall, I've taken many family and friends here already and they've all enjoyed it. It's a nice break from the standard KBBQ spots we're used to and it's great to just sit down and enjoy a meal without having to cook it yourself. The price is fair considering the quality. And I like the ambiance here. They have tasteful music playing and, as I mentioned earlier, something about Jinhan is comforting. Maybe it's the wonderful service from the lovely ladies here. It's definitely one of my favorite places to dine in the Inland Empire and I highly recommend giving it a try. Jinhan Korean Soup and Rice in Corona has won my heart and I hope it wins yours too!
Food: I spent my whole life eating mostly korean food. Jin Han is the one of the best korean restaurants out in the IE area. It's not fancy or unique, but they really are top notch in serving true korean comfort food. Came here with another korean friend after her long 20 hour shift, and we ordered cold noodles, galbi, and bibimbap, which all hit the spot for us. The dishes tasted exactly like how they're supposed to taste. Also comes with small banchan on the sides, which were also delicious and satisfying. Price: around $17-22 for each dish, i think it's comparable to LA korean food prices Ambiance: located within an outdoor mall, casual family friendly environment, lots of tables, it was not too crowded around weekday lunch time Service: nice people consisting mostly of kind ajummas, they give you good korean food, what more can you ask for Parking: there's a big outdoor parking lot within the mall, ample amount of spaces all around
